Our web site host collects your IP address, browser type and operating system on each visit to every page on this site on our behalf. This information is used ONLY for internal statistic tracking purposes and is never shared with other entities outside Stem Cell Health Alliance unless required by law enforcement. Your name and other information is NOT collected unless you specifically provide it.
What information do we collect?
We collect information from you when you make a donation. When using the web site to send donations, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number or credit card information. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.
What do we use your information for?
Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:
• To process donation transactions
Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested.
• To send periodic emails
The email address you provide for order processing, will be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your donation. Stem Cell Health Alliance does not send bulk e-mail messages, or 'Spam'. We only communicate with our current clients, current vendors, current business partners, insurance carriers or other parties that have an interest in becoming clients or business partners. We will, on occasion, send all of our donors a group e-mail when software updates or important issues arise. If you believe you have received bulk e-mail from us, or have received a suspicious e-mail that appears to be fraudulent, please contact us so that we can investigate the matter.
All e-mail messages received from our clients and business partners are kept completely confidential and are never shared with parties outside of Stem Cell Health Alliance without your express permission unless required by law enforcement.
If you do not wish to receive further e-mail communications from us, please e-mail your request to: info@StemCellHealthAlliance.org. We do not have an automated mail-list system because we send all of our e-mails manually.
How do we protect your information?
The Stem Cell Health Alliance has put in place various physical, electronic and managerial procedures to try to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. For example, private account and customer information is located on a secured server behind a firewall; it is not directly connected to the Internet. Encryption is a process by which a message or information is scrambled while it is in transit to StemCellHealthAlliance.org. It is based on a key that has two different parts, public and private. The public part of the key is distributed to those with whom you want to communicate. The private part is for the recipient's use only. So long as you use a browser that allows for encryption, when you send personal information to us, you use a public key to encrypt your personal information. If your information is intercepted during the transmission, it is scrambled and very difficult to decrypt. Once we receive your encrypted personal information, we use the private part of our key to decode it.
After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.
Please note however that while we implement many security measures on this site, 100% security cannot be guaranteed.
Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
What About Information About Children?
The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act took effect on April 21, 2000 and imposes certain requirements on websites directed toward children under 13 that collect information on those children, or on websites that know they are collecting information on children under the age of 13. We want to let you know that it currently is StemCellHealthAlliance.org's policy not to collect personal information on any person under 13.
