The Stem Cell Health Alliance (SCHA) is a non-profit organization that seeks to develop collaborative efforts to advance the safe and efficacious clinical application of allogeneic adult stem cells. Breakthough to IndependenceCatch a glimpse into Ashley, Garrett, Jhoonar and Terrence’s collective experiences in Kazakhstan and learn more about the treatments they received and the new physical breakthroughs they experienced shortly after receiving stem cells.

Breakthrough to Independence is a clinical study that has been designed to advance the breakthroughs experienced in combining adult stem cell treatment with a comprehensive rehabilitation therapy protocol targeted at medical conditions related to spinal cord injury. The study is an eighteen month initiative in which two quadriplegic young adult participants – Garrett Tanner and Terrence Cooper and two paraplegic young adults - Ashley Sisti and Jhoonar Barrera – receive adult stem cell treatments along with comprehensive physical therapy designed to support them in gaining enough strength and mobility to establish greater independence and a significant increase in their quality of life.  more
